In 1986, four brothers from Juarez, Mexico, who shared the same kind of passion for music, began their musical careers by playing for dances and festivals in their hometown area. Los Sheriffes Del Norte was born. The band soon grew in number when two more brothers joined the group. With this addition, the style and sound now associated with Los Sheriffes Del Norte was created. During the 1990's, the group's popularity and performance schedule grew to great heights. The new millennium marked a new beginning for this group of 6 brothers who began opening for groups like Los Invasores, Los Cadetes de Linares and Grupo Mojado. They caught the ear of Hacienda Records who quickly took the opportunity to present the music of Los Sherrifes Del Norte to a wide international audience. This brand new CD features the classic accordion and sax mixture that Norteno music from the heart of Mexico is known for.
