CD Reviews

Phenomenal Artistry!

"I'd never heard of Liz McComb but found her "FIRE" CD in a small college bookstore in Southern California. I am so glad I took the risk to discover McComb's musicianship. Known as one of Europe's great Jazz-Blues-Gospel artists, Liz McComb's fussion of all three styles make her music very unique. I have fallen in love with her music! It's one of those CDs, once you listen to it, that makes you feel like you've missed out on something in life. Liz McComb, where have you been all my life?!?!"

"WOW! America needs to hear more of Liz Mc Comb. I discovered her music sitting on a shelf at my college bookstore and haven't been able to put it down. Liz's voice is simply phenomenal. Her Inspirational presentation through gospel, jazz, and blues is moving. I've been looking for more of her music which I know is available in Europe. ..."
Liz McComb is a treasure!

"I discovered this CD only recently. I was intrigued by a gospel singer living in Paris and working in Europe. I was really impressed (and blessed) by the CD. Most of the selections were written by Ms. McComb, and she accompanies herself on the piano. She comes from a Pentecostal background in Cleveland, OH. Her roots are Bessie Griffin and Sister Rosetta Tharpe, and it shows. If you can imagine Nina Simone singing gospel, this is it. She puts her whole heart into her music. If you enjoy real, authentic African-American gospel music, you will enjoy this CD."
