CD Reviews

Second only to seeing them!
M. W. Zeininger | New Orleans, LA USA | 06/20/2001
(4 out of 5 stars)

"The only reason this album doesn't get five stars is because you have to see these guys in action to fully enjoy the great vibe and energy that they give off at their shows! I've been going to see MBK since I was in high school (I guess that makes me one of the original fans!) and they're always showstopping! If you've never seen them live, this will make you know what you've been missing, and if you have, it will help relive the great memories of singing along and dancing your fool head off. Ross and Company, all top of the line musicians, are Kings indeed! Thanks, guys!"
Amazing Live CD - Chicago Suburb Fan
William Bradford | Palos Park, IL United States | 02/24/2002
(5 out of 5 stars)

"I've seen these guys live since I was in High School and this album is pretty darn close to what it is like to see them live. The one thing you can pick up just from listening is their showman ship. They are great at that. The other thing that you can hear, but just have to see them live to like is the anything can happen. The cover of "Manic Depression" just blows me away everytime I listen to it. MBK truly make this song their own like nobodys business. "Green Grass Grows All Around" is very funny to listen to. And "Sunshine in the Rain" is just a great little song. But, I must admit that when I first got this album the first song I listened to was "Rag Mop" and this version will blow you away. If you don't live in IL and want to hear them live. Then get this album. IT is nothing like seeing them live, but it is money well spent."
