"The Lithuanian music in this Cd is more for the music historian. All of it is older folk and country melodies, sung by actual Lithuanian old-timers. If you are looking for new and current Lithuanian music, this CD IS NOT for you. Some of the melodies are recognizable to the older Lithuanian-Americans. Most are new to the ear. The recordings are very clear. The true flavor of Sena Lietuva (Old Lithuania) comes out. I have enjoyed the CD, but it was not what I originally expected. My grandmother would have loved this CD!"

"This is a beautiful and authentic ensemble of harmonized Lithuanian folk songs. A must for the true "Liaudes" collector. As an immigrant child of the late 40's, I remember my grandmother singing some of these to me. Very nostalgic to many, I am sure."
