"Man...it's too bad Little Johnny didn't make it as big as he should have. Don't get this guy confused with the Johnny Taylor who did "Disco Lady" 'cuz it ain't the same man! Little Johnny, (who passed away last year at too young of an age) could sing deep soul/blues like few others ever could. If I had to name a favorite on this cd, it would probably be "Darling Believe in Me" but really, I love all the songs. Do yourself a favor, and buy this cd -- especially if you love the old school soul(no hip hop here, folks)."
This is THE stuff!

"Great. No other adjective does justice to this record. Johnny's voice weaves in and out of the Blues and the Soul genres like he owns both of them! Some great guitar workon ths disc too--and an unexpected appearance from harmonica ace George Smithon a tune or two. Brilliant horn arrangements from Ray Shanklin combined with stunning heartfelt vocals from Little Johnny make this a RUN DON'T WALK purchase."
