"Okay, this is the first thing I've reviewed on Amazon so you must excuse me if it is not very good haha.
And I only got the CD today so I haven't listened to it much yet but noone has reviewed it yet so I thought I might as wellIt is perhaps not as different from the first EP as I thought it would be.
"This is a Love Song" is of course different though, it is rockier and very good - that's what I expected of the EP
"Alright" is a track that so far I very much like which is good.Like the first EP, it gets softer towards the end, coming to a quite gentle close.
"Now the Rain is Falling..." is something different though from other Little Birdy tracks because Katy Steele (lead singer, lyricist, songwriter, guitarist) plays main piano in it.
Katy Steele actually does more of the writing for this - in the first EP she wrote the lyrics while the band wrote the music together - whereas in this she wrote all the lyrics and all the music, except for "Alright".
Okay, my review wasn't very good, I admit. But in summary: this is a good EP and it retains the distinctive Little Birdy sound heard on the first EP, so I recommend it to fans of that. Bring on the album!"
