"What a voice!!! Lisbeth's music is so spellbinding. The more I listened the more I was drawn in. Her voice is so incredibly beautiful, but I was also floored by her lyrics. She is so right on! Her images and insights just blew me away. Each song had it's own life. I want to find more of her music. She is incredible!!!"

"I first heard of Lisbeth Scott from hearing her work in a film, but the film wasn't the one about Narnia. It was Joe Greco's (criminally underlooked) film "Canvas," in which Scott performs a couple of songs on the film's (criminally non-existent)soundtrack. But for me the standout track on "Climb" is "Waiting." I still find myself playing that song over and over, because it's just such a beautiful song, and Scott's vocals lend it a delicate poignancy that I don't hear every day. Please listen to the clip of "Waiting" if you have a moment. Scott's voice is a little like Sarah McLachlan's, but more ethereal-sounding without sounding overproduced and New Agey. If you like MacLachlan, you may want to check out this CD, and also "Passionate Voice." The latter CD has "In the Darkness," a song that appeared in both "Canvas" and "Gone Baby Gone." Another haunting song.
