CD Reviews

Great cd, wish it had more then 8 tracks though

(5 out of 5 stars)

"this is a great cd. lil wyte delivers again. def a step up from his last, "The One & Only", which was a good cd also.

with a title like "Cocaine & Kush", you know it's gonna be something...

i liked every track on this cd except for "Blackhaven Zone" & "Came A Long Way" w/ Frayser Boy. that was disappointing, cuase i'd expect better beats for that song...and blackhaven zone.

the rest of the cd is dope though. they went a lil diff on "Sun Came Up" though. i don't know what happened on that one. starts off w/ hard rock then morphs into reggae. the reggae is where it sounds good, kinda like a Sugar Ray song... they should of done that song all reggae style and not start off w/ metal.. it's an interesting listen, it's different...

the DJ mixing it up, DJ Southboy, does a good job w/ the fades and scratches... heads will enjoy his style if you're like me and don't dig too much of DJ Black... we all know Three 6 like to use DJ Black for chopped and screwed. DJ Southboy doesn't do anything screwed on this cd, not really... but his style is good.

the cd is more like a mix cd, more then a lil wyte cd. it show boats these unknown rappers to me, Ace, Partee, Yung Kee and more... but these unknown rappers to me, well they're making this cd hot... one of themm sounds like Chrome to me.

despite 2 tracks i don't much like, i like the rest of the cd, and i give it 5 stars. lil wyte is my boy though, i love dat cat... anywho, the only downside to this cd is the fact it only has 8 tracks on it. wish there were at least 6 more tracks.

some of my fave tracks: "Let Em See", "Tell Em Who You Is"

great beats on both. Let Em See reminds me of MIMS "This is why i'm hot" but in reverse... i ain't a fan of MIMS, but there's like an element of that kinda evident on this track. "Tell em who you is", is a soft track, but still has a dope groove to it. this whole cd gets your head bobbin, def a good cd to smoke and drink too... i hope they release a chopped and screwed version of it...

i look for more music from the newcomers on this cd too... def go cop this cd."
