Synopsis

Product Description
While most 11-year-olds can only dream of growing up and following in their dads' footsteps, rap mogul Master P's son is already there. Romeo Miller's self-titled debut appealingly displays the pint-sized rapper's confidence on the mic, proving that the lil' man can comfortably hold his own amongst the adult members of his No Limit family. And this album is most definitely a family affair. The grownups have helped America's youngest chart-topper deliver a sound that's mature in outlook but positively geared toward the teenaged set. The rhymes focus on playin' ball, doing well in school, and keeping one step ahead of the girlies. Dad oversees the production, wisely combining instantly recognizable samples like the Jackson 5's "I Want You Back" with trademark No Limit bounce beats. One of the album's highlights is uncle Silkk the Shocker's appearance on the remix of "That's Cool." As Romeo himself puts it, "It's like that, wodie?" Well, yes it is

CD Reviews

WARNING: Not to be taken seriously.

"For a real laugh, check out any five-star review for this... erm, "album".Back in the late 1980's, rap groups like NWA and Public Enemy stood for something. They spoke out against police brutality and the deteriorating quality of their city. They had something to say, and people listened. But, unfortunately, sometime in the early 1990's, rap became a complete joke. And now, we have some little third grader whining about multiplication tables and how he tried to kiss the little girl he had a crush on and got sent to time out. This, people, is the apocalypse in the form of music. (And I use the word "music" loosely.) Thankfully, REAL music still thrives on, and provides a great sense of relief for people who are sick of this tripe. If you agree with me on this one, click "Helpful". If you don't, and actually LIKE hearing this kid cry about how some girl he knows has "cooties", click "Not Helpful"."

"The Talented Romeo Miller, a.k.a. Lil Romeo is a new comer to the music business! This Jr.Master P. (P's son), is here to stay and his album proves it all. It has a remarkable beat and you can never hear it too much! I enjoy this CD a lot, Because of Romeo's rhyming which is fabulous and the beat to the songs. Not only is it enjoyable for kids but adults can enjoy it too, For e.g., My baby his hit single has Michael Jackson's Background song, that for instance is Children's and Adults music. This album is already a hit and from reading about Romeo he preys his album will go platinum which I feel proud helping! I also enjoy The album because its clean, no cursing he is not trying to be older then he is and he sets a good example that's important. This album was worth every penny that I earned and bought with my own money. I hope Romeo's success continues! The album is Fabulous"
