The Speed Of Life, Like One Mind's debut album is a refreshing mixture of Contemporary Christian Music. This CD paints a picture of your life in Christ. The pain, tears and struggles along with the joys, blessings and happiness of life within the context of the speed of it all. LOM presents this meaasge with Christ in the very center of it all. The music style is very authentic and easy to listen to. You will hear the Southern California Country sounds of the 70's, the smooth jazz sounds of today along with some soft rock songs of inspiration and praise. There are 5 oringinal songs on this CD including the title track. Songs were choosen for content and truth. This is one of those CDs that you can listen to all the way through without having to program certain songs out. Right in the middle of the CD is a instrumental that has printed read along words that allow you to use your imagination as the music plays. There are no "fill" songs on this CD. This album was intentionally recorded with a live feel. You won't hear pitch corrective devices, vocal stacks, or any other tricks of the trade on this recording. This is not a "cookie cutter" project. LOM wanted their first album to sound just like they do if you were at one of their concerts. This has created an atmosphere that has a pleasant, warm personal touch. You can tell they enjoy music and life.
