"For the past year I have witnessed first hand A Life Once Lost absolutely destroy crowd after crowd of eager onlookers, with the songs encompassed in this brand new CDEP. To say that A Life Once Lost are one of the premiere bands in the Metalcore scene these days would be a complete understatement. A Life Once Lost has taken this style of music to a level that few bands past or present have ever been able to come close to. The Metalcore scene is flooded with ridiculous amounts of bands that would rather be bunched up into a group of generic wannabe's then to actually sit down, think about writing incredible music and then accomplish it, this is exactly what A Life Once Lost has done. Though this record does sound as if it was rushed, there are still no competitors to the masters at this metal/hardcore hybrid. As drastically matured as this record sounds I don't believe ALOL has even come close to their potenial, and if they keep putting out records like this, you'll be hearing about them for many years to come.
