She sounds like early Fannie Brice, but much more powerful voice! After purchasing this cd, I bought another Libby cd, recorded late in her career. In the 1950's-60's, she made the transition to folk music. I didnt care for these...as much as I did the earlier material. I highly recommend this tin-pan alley, torch song, vampish cd!"
