CD Reviews

Listen to it a few times
Robert Hammond | Oshkosh, WI | 12/11/2005
(5 out of 5 stars)

"Jamie Woolford and The Militia Group Label are one great combination. His new Let Go CD is one that requires a few times to listen through before it all grows on you. The first and last tracks on the CD are probably some of the catchiest on the CD. Great guitar riffs and super nostalgic vocals. It's a very cozy CD once you try it. You can download a good song on their myspace website."
Amazing Band, Amazing Album

"This is one of those true gems in the world of music that you only seem to find by accident. I saw Let Go when they opened for Jimmy Eat World with The Appleseed Cast in Lawrence, KS in 2005. This album wasn't even officially released at the time, but they were selling it at the concert. I'm very glad that I purchased it.

This power pop/rock album is absolutely incredible. There is a quote by Vinnie Fiorello of Less Than Jake they've been using as a promo that says "Let Go is your new favorite band", and as funny as it sounds, it's true. Give this album one good listen and you'll be hooked. It mixes all of the best addictive elements of pop with a rock sound that isn't dull and won't leave your ears smelling like bubblegum."
It's a good thing Jamie has gotten a second chance

"Im just gonna say it: I love this band. Let Go is The Stereo but a little more evolved. Jamie Woolford was just too good to go under with The Stereo. He came back with Let Go. I found this band on Myspace Music back in September and bought the album that night. After the 4th time through i felt as if i had been living under a rock the last year and a half. These guys are Amazing and posess the same catchy tunes as The Stereo but have, in a sence, made their music sound more mature. Im still waiting for Let Go's next Album to come out and checking Periodically so i dont miss it like i did this last one."
