"Serendipity brought me to this album and the outcome has been hours and hours of listening pleasure. I tend to get favorites and listen to them til they wear out. I love this album. The standards are refreshingly new and the original pieces are exactly that. Original. The compositions are filled with color and nuance that grows with each listening. I am sure it's not for everyone - someone who can only listen if they know the words, for instance. The music on this album wordlessly creates a rich tapestry of moods that pleases me anew each time I listen."

"The compositions are smart and deep. After ten listenings I am still drawn in and surprised. Ms. Pintchik builds to climatic solos using unique voicings while the bass player is a virtuoso and really listens. The percussionist adds striking timbres and has a presence that moves the music along. Have Ears? Highly Recommended."
