"After all these years of waiting, a portion of Les Emmerson's outstanding solo work has finally been released on CD, and the wait was worth it! Les Emmerson is best know as the singer/songwriter of the Five Man Electrical Band. The new CD titled "The Sound City Sessions" (named for the studio in California where it was recorded) is a re-release of his album titled "I Still Hear The Music" from the early 1970's.



This album is so rare, I have been searching for it for over 30 years, and I have never seen even one copy! I have been making do with just the single "Dance She Said" b/w "Borderline" for years (on a scratchy 45), and had never heard the entire album. WOW! Ever song is fantastic, from start to finish, not a clunker in the bunch.



Any fan of The Five Man Electrical Band will want this one. Even the casual fan that just owns the greatest hits, will need to pick this up. This CD could almost be mis-titled as a greatest hits package, and most people would not know the difference, it's that good.



Just buy it, you will not be disappointed!!"
