"A must-have for lovers of beautiful music. Originally recorded in 1961 with Les Baxter's own comments introducing each track, these recordings are astoundingly well-remastered to CD. Clarity and tone quality far exceeds most other Baxter reissues I've heard. As the album's title suggests, the selections are heavily weighted towards the lavish orchestral show-tunes rather than lounge or exotica. The breathtaking arrangements of Jerome Kern's "All The Things You Are" and Cole Porter's "I Concentrate on You" are themselves worth the surprisingly low price of this CD."
