CD Reviews

One of Canada's best gifts to th e world!!

"This is Lee Aarons best album by far. Starting out with "Powerline" you know right away this album ROCKS, and it doesn't quit until the last notes fade from the final song. Lee has put out many great albums and this is another shining example for other female fronted bands to follow, the music and the vocals are flawless. A must have for anone who enjoys the finer aspects of harder rock music. Don't let the cover fool you, this offering is POWERFUL stuff."
Metal Queen goes pop

"Lee Aaron's 1987 self-titled album was the Canadian Metal Queen's most pop/AOR effort to date. This album includes one of my favorite Lee Aaron songs, "Powerline". If you are a die-hard Lee Aaron fan (like myself), I definately recommend this album. However, if first-time listeners are fans of this album, they may not like Ms. Aaron's other albums which are in the hard rock/heavy metal genre... Hence her early title of Metal Queen. The songs "Number One" & "Eye For An Eye" are the best examples of Lee Aaron's sound on her rock albums. In the new millenium, Lee has changed her sound... If you enjoy this album, please check out her 2004 album "Beautiful Things" distributed by Fusion3."
More of this, please !

"If you like powerful female vocals you should get to know Lee Aaron. Together with Ann Wilson (Heart), Holly Woods (Toronto), Robin Beck and Karen Lawrence (1994) she's one of the great (and beautiful) women of rock. By the way, why are the two albums by 1994 still not out on CD ?"
