CD Reviews

Waiting room at the Dentist
jknox@ties.k12.mn.us | Coon Rapids, MN United States | 11/03/2001

"If your a big sublime punk rock fan, this might not be the album for you. This album is nice and laid back. It's got the feeling of sitting in the waiting room at the dentist. If that's a good analogy. I've enjoyed it for it's jazzy style. Burritos was slowed way down, and I've enjoyed it more than the original."
Sublime Muzak

"I am a huge Sublime fan, so I was intrigued by this album. But after listening to the tracks online, I felt like I was in a supermarket, 10 years from now, picking out some juicy, ripe tomatoes, and suddenly thinking to myself, "Is that 'Date Rape' on the muzak speakers?" - then getting depressed that I was so old that the ingenious punk/ska of my day was being turned into elevator music.

Bad concept, bad execution."
Not what you expect

"If you are a diehard Sublime fan then this album is a joke, it night be ok if say you were waiting to get your teeth pulled. I couldn't even listen to one whole song before I got frustrated. I think that this album is not worth your money. It's a joke, some people trying to make a buck off of the awsome band we all know and love, I think that Bradley Nowell would turn in his grave."
