CD ReviewsAMAZING dreamcatcher | California | 12/28/2007 (5 out of 5 stars) "Lazarus "Hawk Medicine" is my favorite record of 2007. The words to "Baby True" unfold slow, from acoustic to electric, to open strings, into open space before these words fall into dissonance. Opening cut 'Story' makes for a great first track, featuring deep blue organ tones and '70s-style languid bass riffing and a killer melody. Tracks like 'Sister' and the slow-rocking organ joint 'Forsaken' underline that Lazarus - appropriate to their name - sound like they've been around for many, many years, making sturdy, occasionally experimental old-school rock. Highly Recommended."
