With this latest album, Layla takes her musical and life experiences to a deeper, more personal level than anything in her previous work. Experimenting with odd-meters in Latin and World Jazz, this is Layla s first album featuring her vocals on several compositions. Not only does she sing, she has written and arranged most of the music and plays both Alto and Soprano Saxes. Endorsed by Keilwerth Saxophones and Sonare Wind Flutes, Layla exclusively plays her Shadow Keilwerth alto Saxophone on MIENTRAS....
