If you like swinging blues, you'll love Lavelle's CD

"I just learned of Miss Lavelle's wonderful music on a recent Austin City Limits. The next day, I could not get her songs out of my head....good stuff. I had to have her CD...looked for weeks...couldn't find it. Thanks Amazon.com Lavelle's range of styles is amazing. Blues for sure, but mixed with swing, a bit of soul, almost R & R on some tracks. If you are a Carolina Shag fan, just try "I've never found a man to love", if you want a little cheek to cheek try "It haven't been easy" In any event, you'll be dancing before the last song plays. One additional surprise....the audio quality of this disk is superb, the studio musicians are extra ordinary. Hats off to Antones/ Discovery Rec."
