"Laura's assembled a terrific band and written some great arrangements of old tunes as well as created some interesting originals. Her arrangement of "Well You Needn't" is a personal favorite and "Bottom Line" with Karrin Allyson is great fun."

A post-bop piano trio that is a joy to hear.

"Laura Caviani's trio builds on the Bill Evans tradition, with more than a little Thelonious Monk thrown in. The group does wonderful covers of some jazz classics, but Caviani's own material meets the same standard. If you don't love the group's song "As One," you have very different kind of ears from me. Karrin Allyson, a personal and musical friend, does vocals on two cuts. This is a lovely CD that stands up to many, many listenings."

"I bought this CD and "Dreamlife" directly from Laura during a performance at a Kansas City nightclub soon after "As One" was released. The night was memorable with good music, good company, good food and plenty of Maker's Mark. Laura Caviani is a lyrical pianist and I play both her albums often. My only disappointment is that there are no other recordings currently available."
