Scattered, but great

"Larval has 7 or so members with the standard rock rhythm section plus saxaphones and a string section. They play dramatic, soundtrack-style instrumental progressive rock somewhere in between Godspeed You Black Emperor, Don Cabellero and The E Street Band. It's obviously the last comparison here that throws everything out of wack, and gives the band it's unpredictable nature. This album stands really strong on it's own, but gives one the feeling that this band his not yet reached it's full potential."
