"It was great to finally hunt down this soundtrack. Previously I had to settle for a "Best of" Mike Curb CD to acquire the title song, as well as the Hank Williams Jr. "For the Love of Sunshine" tracks. In reference to my title, the one thing I did upon playing the new complete CD for the first time was to take the booklet inside of the jewel case and turn it around. In that manner the original KELLY'S HEROES movie poster serves as the cover of the CD rather than the cartoonish artwork on the other side.



What you get with this CD is soundtrack music from the entire movie. There are some short snippets missing, such as the original recording of the rather poor French band playing polkas at the end of the film, but overall the CD is complete.



Please note that the CD tracks are not necessarily in order of their appearance in the film. If so you would expect "Burning Bridges" to appear as the first track, and then twice afterward. However it appears as track number 15.



If there are any future reissues of this CD my only recommendation would be for it to include some of the classic movie soundbytes in between the musical numbers. There are a lot of quotable quotables from KELLY'S HEROES."
