Synopsis

Album Description
Founded in the middle of the 90's, La Caution is french rap duo, Hi-Tekk and Nikkfurie, two brothers from Morroco with a biting flow which has been idolized in the same "vein" of Cannibal Ox. Joined by DJ Fab (2), in 1999, they released their first 12" on the label Assassin Productions, and in 2000/2001, they perform the 1st parts of the label founders (Assassin (2)). Then, they create their own label, Kerozen Music, with Mouloud (2), C-real, and Dinh, in which they release their projects. You might even already know of one of 'em, Nikkfurie (the producer brother): his track was the crazy disco laserlight b-boy anthem to that one scene in Oceans 12.

CD Reviews

Greatest french hip hop album of the year
Hi Tekk | 12/10/2005
(5 out of 5 stars)

"La Caution comes back stronger than ever with this double album ( 31 tracks ). The beats, flows and lyrics are just dope. The first Cd features Thé a la menthe ( lazer dance song in Ocean's 12 ) and Thé a la menthe's instrumental which some of you may know. I strongly advise people who look for a fresh new style of hip hop to listen to this bomb, you won't be disappointed !"
