CD Reviews

A Day Without Love, A Masterpiece you will love.
Brian Keogh | Victoria , Australia. | 01/13/2003

"A flashback from the 60's featuring an almost forgotten English band, whose classics appear on this CD. Beautiful orchestral pop songs like Everlasting Love & the album's best track, A Day Without Love stand out as their two #1 singles. Then Rainbow Valley & the almost haunting 60 Seconds add variety, as well as their covers of Tobacco Road, Handbags, The First Cut, etc are as good as you'll ever hear. Memories & great classic pop are all found here on this excellent masterpiece."
Here We Go Again About Owning Vinyls.

"Yeah, you guessed it, I own some vinyls by these guys as well. Two of the original vinyl singles I own are on the old Date label(A division of CBS).Everlasting Love and Rainbow Valley both have picture sleeves to boot.I also have a few of their original vinyl import singles on CBS. So, as you can see, I have done a lot more than just homework in my reviews. It also helps to have been around that period of time because you can go back and say hey, I remember those guys. I'm not saying that anyone who has not been around does not know what they are saying, it's just that I have been listening to music for a really long time. I'd better get on with the review before I reveal my old age.No words can describe how I feel about this band, stupendous, colossal, magnificent are just mere beginnings.Yeah, they resemble the original Small Faces, but, a lot of groups sound like others. WHO CARES? THEY ARE GREAT! This is another great group worth more than just listening to. Get it, you will not regret it. Their other cd's are just as worthy. You can't go wrong!"
