One of the supreme Ambassadors the violin ever had !
Hiram Gomez Pardo | Valencia, Venezuela | 08/04/2008
(5 out of 5 stars)

"Fritz Kreisler' s tune represented the sound of a vanished period and pitifully missing approach about how the music must be played; in the past the music was a part of system of experiences. It was art, not only technique of fireworks to please the frivolity of some people.

That generation of musical giants spanned Joachim, Sarasate, Thibaud and Enesco. Just reflect about it. They felt they had a mission to achieve. And that explains why they sound so authoritative and expressive because they had something to say.

Kreisler is part of the legend of the violin and his virtues as interpreter overpass by far his qualities as composer.

Don't miss it.!
