Kinghorse was one of the inventors of the metal-punk sound, although it's always the immitators, never the innovators, who get all the glory. The sound is tight and razor-sharp. Black Sabbath meets Black Flag, but with a healthy dose of originality and mania all their own. Kinghorse, their debut CD is a wild ride though screaching vocals, whoa-ho-ho chants, and crazy lyrics. Don't pay attention to the ego of their producer, Glenn Danzig, who slapped his own name on the album three times as big as anyone else's. This invites undue criticism and comparisons to Danzig, with whom they have very little in common. Kinghorse stands alone." Too far ahead of its time J. They released another album on Slamdek that is worth obtaining and there are unreleased mp3s and videos floating around on the Internet that can be found via Google."
