CD ReviewsTreasures, Indeed! gentlebenn | Los Angeles, CA United States | 09/23/2001 (5 out of 5 stars) "These fourteen tracks showcase King Tubby's ability to take popular songs, and add an element of complexity to them, while retaining those element which made the songs hits. "Lost Treasures" is of the era in Tubby's career before his dub tracks started becoming over produced and "dub for dub's sake". This album is of that old school era when dub was just an alternate version of a particular song. The vocals come in and out, the song isn't saturated by effects, and the songs are good songs to begin with. I can't say enough about track 4: "Dub on the Street Again"...One of my all time favorites...It alone is worth the price of the CD. King Tubby fans, and dub fans in general, should not overlook this album...Too bad there are no sound samples!"
