Her style of music is blues, but don't let it fool you. Her latest CD, "Beyond Blue" takes on different shades of the blues, from hard rock to traditional jazz to R&B. The title track, "Conversation with Kings", is a tribute to three great blues guitarists, B.B. King, Albert King and Freddie King. It showcases her great range of guitar playing. The title track is smokin'! She has the mark of the late blues guitarist, Stevie Ray Vaughn. The track, "Between the Dots" delves into bebop jazz with a style much like the late great jazz guitarist, Joe Pass. Overall, this album is highly recommended for the blues lovers as well as traditional jazz fans like myself."
