A great set of hard-country, hillbilly hits

"A very cute, but also very strong collection of early 'Fifties country. Due to a couple of early hits, Roberts was typecast as a novelty song artist -- but since his novelty songs were so good, this was hardly a liability. Features the hit version of the can't-shake-the-chaperone lament, "I Never See Maggie Alone", and the cutesy-wootsy little kid song, "Chocolate Ice Cream Cone." STRONGLY RECOMMENDED."

"This is a fantastic CD. For years I have been trying to find it. We had it on an album but that is long gone. When I'd Yoo-Hoo in the Valley,Boogie Woogie Yodel, and She Taught Me How To Yodel just takes my breath away. I recommend to anyone who loves the sound of the yodel to buy it."

"My Mom played this record for me all the time when I was little (that was a few years ago! ) So the old "vinyl" is not doing to well anymore. We were sure we'd never be able to replace this album with a cd or a tape. Now I play the old scratched up record for my kids - and they LOVE "She taught me to yodel." My mom was sooo excited when I told her I actually found this music again."
