Synopsis

Album Description
At age 18, KeKe Wyatt burst onto the scene with "My First Love," a top five R&B hit duet with Avant from Avant's smash album "My Thoughts." She then followed with her own highly anticipated debut album which was certified gold and included another duet with Avant, the top five R&B hit "Nothing In This World." KeKe was quickly being hailed as one of the most impressive new R&B voices to emerge within the crowded urban landscape. Finally, KeKe Wyatt is back with Who Knew?, the long-awaited follow-up to her smash debut. Featuring several tracks produced by the hit-making Underdogs (Tyrese, Fantasia, Ne-Yo) as well as L. Young, Dream Team, Roy Oliver and others, KeKe has returned to re-establish herself as a voice to be reckoned with on today's R&B scope.

CD Reviews

10 songs and almost a perfect 10.

"KeKe Wyatt is back with her official sophmore effort. I must admit, I never bought her first effort even though I thoroughly enjoy her voice, but this time I made sure to buy. KeKe is singing pure R&B. What I mean by that is she is singing the kind of R&B that radio isn't playing anymore. Pure singing with no solo spots on the record. Nice slow jams and midtempo numbers. KeKe can really sing and what is nice about this effort is that she isn't chasing the trends in music. That is very evident upon first listen. She tears into a song like no other as evident on a couple of numbers. The only misstep is track number 9. It doesn't fit in with the whole vibe of the record and in my opinion is very typical of radio today. If it weren't for that I'd give this a perfect 10. For the sake of this review I give it a 4.5."
Good album.

"I didn't buy her first album Soul Sista, but I heard the song If Only You Knew on it and I thought she was amazing on that song. So I decided to buy her new one Who Knew, and it's pretty good. My only complaint is that I think she overdoes the runs a little bit. A little overboard to me with all that oooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo lol if you know what I mean. Other than that the album is really nice, pure R&B like someone mentioned in their review, not that pop tart crap they play today. Favorites on the album are: Never Do It Again, Without You, and Peace On Earth. I would recommend this album to everyone, you won't be disappointed."
Glad to see you back Keke!

"That voice is heaven on earth! Glad to see you back Keke! The album is AWESOME and you look great. I am a fan and I can't wait to hear the duet cd with you and Avant sometime in the future! Can't wait!"
