Synopsis

Album Description
Good time Rock and Roll is what this NEW record from Keith Sykes emotes. Keith cuts some tracks that take us back to his rockin' Memphis roots. Not a recording to sit by the fire with, it offers its own warmth and a good blanket of frolicking tunes. Keith lets it loose the only way a guy who wrote hits for Jimmy Buffett, Rodney Crowell and Guy Clark could, with "Old Rockin Roller". While "Tearing the House Down" co-written with Todd Snider keeps ya rockin. Keith writes with some of the best. The roster reads like a whoÂ?s who of songwriters. Danny Flowers (Tulsa Time) jointly crafted "Thats The Way You Do It". Roger Cook ("Long Cool Woman in a Black Dress") co-penned "Midnight Tupelo" and "You Can't Lie About Love". Then there is Django Walker, Jerry Jeff Walker's progeny, who co-wrote "Old Rock and Roller" and "Wake Up Sleepy Head". The Title Track, "Let It Roll" co-written with Ted Thompson twists the disc up in a fine package. More Music That Deserves to be Heard from Fat Pete Records.
