Keith Levene is back!

"Killer in the Crowd (2004) marks the return of Public Image Limited's musical genius Keith Levene. This CD-EP has several tracks that'll appear on a "future" CD release from

MurderGlobal (Keith's band). If you're a fan of Public Image Limited 1.0 then you'll dig this disc. All of the trademark guitar riffs and heavy bass/drum sound can be found on this bumping CD (the multimedia track has a video of Keith recording the title track). Now if Mister Levene can get back into the studio and finish this musical masterpiece then everything in the universe can be at peace.

Great stuff from one of the most underrated musicans."

"For one of the founders of the Clash and the brains behind the sound of PIL Keith Levene is barely noticed for his great talent. This album is based on Reggae Dub but has been pushed completely to were it is Keith's sound but not all of the songs fit that category like "Killer in the Crowd" which is guitar driven more on the distorted rock side. This CD is more like his PIL works than his "Violent Opposition" CD. It is mainly instrumental arrangements and this is what makes it so good. This album shows his genius in mixing bass, synth to guitar into this abstract tapestry of sounds. His range comes out in this record. My only big gripe about this CD is that it has only 5 songs and I know he has more to offer than that after over a 10 year hiatus. I wish Keith would of put more albums out even if they are collaborations like Jah Wobble has done so we could hear more of his talent. It is frustrating when he puts out a CD out every 10 years."
