Irreplaceable

"My Dad brought this album home when it came out and we joked about it tirelessly. However, every Christmas, this album was the background music for our joyous Christmas evenings and happy Christmas mornings. Though the synthesized sound is a little "corny," if you will, this music is the kind that you would hear in one of those small stores that sells Christmas ornaments and smells like cranberry candles.

I can't imagine my Christmas seasons without it!"

"I bought the CD in 1985 when it came out, unheard, and primarily because a number of the tracks had Indexes on them. My CD player at the time had the capability to directly access Indexes within tracks and it was a chance to mess with a new medium with all its bells and whistles.

Be that as it may, the CD turned out to be very enjoyable and is played every year--now being part of my iPod Christmas playlist. It also has some more obscure songs which adds to its appeal.

"My family has had this album on cassette for 20 years. We played it so often at Christmas that it wore out, and we got the CD so it could be part of our iPod collection. I don't know how many of these CDs are still available, so anyone who is into quality Christmas music should snap up a copy as soon as possible."
