"Keane's 'Somewhere Only We Know' is a catchy record that approaches true grandeur. Its melodies are memorable and it builds to some thrilling crescendoes. Its song structure is odd (two verses, then two alternating choruses) and the lead singer has a high, Freddy Mercury sort of charisma. The production is clean, if overly digital sounding. I recommend this one song by Keane. The rest of their stuff seems less memorable to me, but this one is a keeper."
