YES!!!

"This is not electronic dribble. The compositions are layered, thought thru, and complex, and oh so listenable. I really dont like alot of electronica/dance because it is often such cliche disco synth, but not Kaya Project. This sets the bench-mark for others. Its wayyyy good, interesting, and worth many repeat listens."
Stellar!

"Kaya Project's Elixir album has heavy Middle Eastern and Eastern influences. It's extremely sexy and provocative. It's the kind of tribal yet contemporary pulse of music that puts you in another place, another country, another period of time. This sophomore release is perfect for driving, dancing, massaging, napping, making love, or working at your desk.

Musicians will especially appreciate Elixir because, as expected, there are some worldly instruments played on the album. Things like the blues harp, ney, zourna, darbouka, guitars, tzoura, tabla, bansuri, violins, shakuhachi, keyboards, and kamiachi. The shakuhachi is a traditional Japanese flute. The ney is a Persian end-blown flute. The zourna appears to be an Egyptian clarinet from what I can tell. Hard to find info on it. Masters of it must be rare. The darbouka is an Arabic goblet drum (AKA chalice drum). The tzoura is a Turkish stringed instrument. The tabla is a percussion instrument from northern India--a right-hand drum, also called a dahina or dayan, that is a conical, almost cylindrical drum shell carved out of a solid piece of hard wood. The shell has one open end covered by a composite membrane. The bansuri is an alto flute from India. Kamiachi... Can't find what it is, but apparently Dapu-G is the best at it. This has become my favorite world electronica album. It still gives me goosebumps."
Outstanding World Electronica

"I dabble in this genre quite a bit and Elixir by Kaya Project is a superb recording. A variety of world musical genres with layers of instruments and an ambient electronica groove. A "must have" in my opinion."
