Kay Kyser's Victory Discs

"The reason this only got 4 stars and not 5 is its pretty skimpy with only 12 tracks (some clock in at 1:56). But you'll never hear Kay swing as hard as "Always" and "Bye Bye Blues" ! As you might know Kay Kyser wasn't known for his swinging sounds so its nice to hear them let out with a few bars at the start of this CD. Also Ginny Sims sings "Don't Believe Everything You Dream" and you'll know why soliders everywhere sighed, what a creamy voice. And thankfully no nonsense from "Ishkabibble" anywhere to be found. Overall a real nice CD for all those millions (thousands?) of Kay Kyser fans."
