"I HAVE BEEN LISTENING TO KASSAV SINCE I WAS FIVE YEARS OLD. AND, MY HEART STILL GOES CRAZY WHEN I HEAR THE SOUND. ALTHOUGHT, I LEFT HAITI 13 YEARS, NO OTHER MUSIC BESIDE SOMETHING FROM THE FRENCH WEST INDIES WILL BE PLAYED IN MY STEREO. I LOVE KASSAV. THEY WILL ALWAYS BE THE BEST."

"I don't speak French Creole, but I know good music when I hear it. I discovered "Zouk" music from 2 of the Putumayo collections! I absolutely fell in love with it. This is the band that made zouk music so popular in Guadeloupe, Martinique, Dominica. It is considered one of their best records. This music will make you dance non-stop! If you love zouk, I suggest you find some good Haitian Konpa as well. My favorite track on this Cd is "Djoni." Go get this and dance the night away!!:)"
