More good stuff! But reissue of Higher Octave title of 1990.
(4 out of 5 stars)
"Be careful! While this album is very nice and lyrical, it is a reissue of an earlier Higher Octave release from 1990. The track listing is the same, except on the previous CD track 5 is called "Over the Hills"."
Meditative flute and synthsizer

"Title track is worth price of the album. The other six songs are of the same ilk but don't have the same magic. They are in the meditative, relaxing background NewAge category with flute, synthesizer and male chants as ingredients. The length of the songs range from seven to nine minutes each except for the finale at just over five. I am rating three stars for the overall album, but again, the title track is a five."
Fell asleep to music

"I was 13 years old an joined my best friend Ola on a trip to Stockholm to visit his mother, .. what was her name again... I don't remember... Anyway, after a busy day with korvjaevlar (hot dogs) and snuskdricka (coca cola like), we were going to sleep. Ola's mother turned on some music that she had bought in a small shop with funny things. Wind chimes, stones, chrystals and so on. And music, meditative music, of course. She turned the music on, and I fell asleep almost instantly. The morning after I slightly rememberd the melodic music. It had stayed in my dreames, not letting itself being shut out by me leaving this world for a more abstract one. The one in my head. The music is still in me, somewhere.I made a poor copy of the tape.Later on my older brother used that music quite a lot when...how to say it... having a cosy time with his girlfriend. The music is not really meditative, because it is too melodic. Beautiful, but maby a bit ... simple or naive. It is the kind of music you turn on when you want to be alone in a dark room. It helps clearing ones mind. Anyhow, it made a big impression on me, so I rate it rather high. I enjoyed it, and I will by myself a copy of Sky's beyond."
