Synopsis

Product Description

This is a new recording of selections from the Broadway show, Funny Girl. Composed by Jule Styne with lyrics by Bob Merrill, Funny Girl was nominated for 8 Tony Awards in 1964. Each song appears on the album twice: once with music and vocals, and once with accompaniment tracks alone. This allows the performer to learn a song by singing along with the vocals and music, then to practice their technique accompanied only by the background tracks. The album is recorded in the CD+G format. When played on a karaoke machine, lyrics will appear on-screen. In a conventional CD player no graphics will appear onscreen, but a booklet of the lyrics is enclosed in the CD jewel case. All songs are recorded in the original show key and show tempo.

"This is a great CDG, but I can't understand why Amazon doesn't have a way to listen to the tracks on this album. The background sound is great and includes several live musicians; the guide vocals are very well sung. You can evaluate the CDG for yourself on the manufacturer, Stage-Stars, karaoke website."
