Synopsis

Product Description
This is a new recording of selections from the Broadway musical, A Chorus Line. Composed by Marvin Hamlish, A Chorus Line is one of the longest running shows in Broadway history. Each song appears on the album twice: once with background music and guide vocals, and once with accompaniment tracks alone. This allows the performer to learn a song by singing along with the vocals and music, then to practice their technique accompanied only by the background tracks. All songs are recorded in the original show key and show tempo. The album is recorded in the CD+G format. When played in a karaoke machine, lyrics will appear on-screen. In a conventional CD player no lyrics will appear onscreen, however a booklet of the lyrics is enclosed in the CD jewel case. All songs are recorded in the original show key and show tempo.

CD Reviews

Fun and wonderful
V. Ardito | New York | 07/04/2007
(5 out of 5 stars)

"Bought this CD for my daughter, who needed to sing a Karaoke-style song for her final exam in Chorus. We decided on "Dance-Ten, Looks-Three" and she wowed her teacher and classmates with her rendition. Final grade: 99! Having the original arrangements as well as the Karaoke version gave her the opportunity to really shine.

Now we play both the original arrangements as well as the Karaoke versions for fun and enjoyment."
