"Another fine release--albeit an import. Did not know that this one existed, but glad I found it. The Blastmaster always puts truth ahead of money, and reality ahead of fantasy. Great work!!"

"This is a really good album. This album is very similiar to The Mix Tape, with a couple of previously unreleased tracks."

"I found this used with no case in some hiphop store in Sacramento. Didn't know who KRS-One was, but something compelled me to buy it. This album changed my life. I never liked hiphop before because the MC's always seemed so lame, but KRS showed me it can be done right with this album. I still haven't found an emcee that even comes close.
This album is all about the lyrics. Don't let the production fool you...it may sound lo-fi and crappy, but that just causes you to focus on the lyrics all the more and then you realize the production is perfect and couldn't be any other way.;)
I like this album much more than the very similar Mixtape because it contains the track "Believe It" which brings me to tears every single time. That track is the best HipHop I have ever heard."

"The copy of this I got from KRS-1 himself at a live show. He was giving them out to the crowd but only a few, I was fortunate to get one. I was checking out his shows from the time shortly after "I Got Next" up till now.Back to the tracks on here, first "Ova Here" & "You Don't Really Want It" are one of the hardest disses against another rapper besides Ether. Everyone knew it was stupid and foolish for Nelly to try to diss KRS because that isn't his game.I myself actually thought Nelly's first album was pretty decent because he was making his own style but when he thought he really could sing thats when I quit on him. Besides those tracks KRS basically addresses this commercialized culture in rap as well as self improvement. The production is solid for what seems to be a rushed project between "The Sneak Attack" & "Spiritual Minded". For all the Ol heads
"I Remember" is purely classic with a sample of Aretha Franklin. "Womanology" is a great respect to real woman out there that don't get acknowledged. The last track "Believe It" is great if your in a tough situation or just a rough day this track will shed some hope. I mainly recommend this to fans of KRS but if your open minded and positive you will enjoy this album."
