"Hmm...A Cd by two guys who aren't too young and aren't really communists...Good name choice! I don't usually like electronic music. Most of it is, I feel, far too repetative and uninspired. This album isn't repetative. It also does not use any of the overdone sounds and samples which I think have taken the life of a lot of electronic stuff. This album contains strong basslines, understated and original instrumental sections, and some nice guitar riffs and loops, all cut and mixed perfectly together to create songs that seem to flow like water..There aren't many vocals but the ones that do appear are pretty laid back and usually are only a hook or single line repeated a few times. Kinda remind me of the Beach boys (but none of the music they compliment sounds like anything the beach boys would ever dream of, ever). It's like if a bunch of late 1960s rock dudes and a bunch of late 1990s experimental producers sat down, got really really stoned, then made music. I think the best songs on the album are "Tidal Wave" which is kinda laid back, and "I've Been Shot" which has some guitar and a repeated vocal of "I've been shot" (duh!), as well as weird sampled (?) harmonized vocals, before just going totally crazy. My only criticism is that the first time you listen to it, it sounds so different you may not like it..But if you just listen through it all the way, you'll find that you keep coming back for more. I know I do. Oh and before I forget - No filler. No need to touch that skip button, you can play this all the way through. That is original these days. Buy this album."
