June's husky, silky voice-with-attitude expresses many emotional colorations. In "Booby Trapped," her title song, she raps between her warning tones, to deter innocent men from slipping into the various traps of the Dirty Seven Sisters. Her notes plunge downward to replicate the descent into relationship hell. One reviewer writes, "No one escapes her scathing glance."
