Synopsis

Album Description
Enlisting DJ Boo as the squad's official DJ, The Juggaknots formed Matic (their own indie imprint for recording and releasing music). Now, nearly ten years since the inception of their debut album, the Juggaknots return signing with Amalgam Entertainment to release their highly anticipated sophomore album Use Your Confusion, which triumphantly ushers in a new era for The Juggaknots as well as the return of Rap legend Slick Rick, Nine, and longtime associate J-Treds. Additional guest spots from Sadat X of Brand Nubian, Wordsworth, and Rob-O, to the production by J-Zone, Oh-No, and B-Money (who most recently produced 50 Cent's "Hustlaz Ambition") and several other surprises will further cement their status as " The Juggaknots of this Rap S**t"!!

(4 out of 5 stars)

"Make another amazing LP. It's a little too early to give this bad boy the 5 star rating, but it could lean that way. Only time will tell.

This go round Breeze Brew puts in some work behind the boards and Queen Herowin brings a nice duality on the mic. Its ALL in the family here and you can tell in the voice and flow of the brother and sister duo. Not to mention the beats done by Breeze and Buddy Slim. Simular, but different...

Guest shots by none other than the great Sadat X ,on one of my favorite cuts (30 Something,) Slick Rick (Vows,) and NINE (Never.) Other emcees Wordsworth, Lil Sci and more fill out a couple tracks and pack the end possie cut to the brim.

Only flaw, which I actually dig, is the title cut. Seems like a departure from the traditional Juggs sound and some might say it sounds like Outkast, but I DIG IT. In the long run it fits right in with the rest of the cuts and suprisingly might get them some spin outside of college radio.

If you get a chance to pick this up I also suggest the WKNYC/Genneraly/J-solo & Love Delux EPs. And no doubt RE:release "Clear Blue Skies." Dope rhymes, dope beats... nuff said.
