CD Reviews

Best Sub Noize album of `05!
Max Power | Birmingham, AL, USA | 12/15/2005
(5 out of 5 stars)

"No Compromize by Judge D is another excellent album from that haven for the best sounds from the underground, Suburban Noize records. I have all of the Sub Noize CDs(except for the latest SRH compliation album) that has been released this year and i have to say that No Compromize is the album of the year. Judge D went to another level on this album. He bluntly tells the truth and rails against what`s wrong in the world like war and politics, and talks about life in his own way on this album.

Mike Kumagi once again delivers with more great production on this album. Anyone that`s down with Sub Noize records knows this man has the Midas touch.

Best songs: No Compromize(great way to start the album), Survive(love the great guitar riff in it), Voicez(excellent duet with the great Tech N9ne), I Don`t Wanna Die(great song with Richter and Big B. Love the chorus in it), and We DGAF(Another great duet, this time with Chucky Styles).

If you`re tired of all the garbage out there and need to hear some music from someone that has something to say that`s worth listening to, then i highly recommend No Compromize by Judge D."
Judge D Is Back, And Even Better.........

"let me just say that "No Compromize" is better than "Judgement Time", but i still like his 1st album, but even though this one is better with songs that you will hear many times, and you'll never get bored of it.

1.No Compromize: what a good way to start an album. now this song is filled with energy with adrenaline in it.

2.Survive: again another exellent song by the judge. i love the hook to this song it's like catchy as hell.

3.Just Remember: hell yeah, now this is what i'm talking about. this is a really great song to play at a party, or crank this song up in your car.

4.Voicez-(Featuring Tech N9ne)-: wow this song is a surprise. and man this song has really nice bass, and the hook is so deep. tech n9ne, and judge d own this track.

5.I Don't Wanna Die-(Featuring Big B/J.Richter)-: yes my favorite song on the album. judge d does the hook at his very best. johnny, and big b did there thing on this song.

6.Roll Call-(Featuring Dirtball)-: damn this song is bangin'. dirtball blows this song alway to hell, and the judge did pretty good on this track.

7.Kronik-(Featuring J. Richter)-: im really feeling this song. a track to lay back, get high, and enjoy, and again johnny, and the judge hit this track really well.

8.We Dgaf-(Featuring Chucky Styles)-: another hit song on the album. i love the hook on this one:"DGAF" we don't give a ****", catchy as hell. the judge, and chucky hold it down on this one.

9.Powertrippin-(Featuring Daddy X)-: this song was ok, the judge, and daddy x did it pretty good on this one.

10.Souljaz Story-(Featuring J.Richter)-: this song already appeared on the "Sub Noize Souljaz" cd, but still this song is nice to listen to while crusin in the streets. and the hook is nice to sing to:"This is my life, This is my time, Just another tale of a "Souljaz Story".

11.Interview: this is a skit about an interview with judge d about him saying that he hates Guns, and him saying that he does not want to be a gangster, he just wants peace, cause of his son.

12.Gangsta: this song really didn't catch my attention at all, this song i always skip it, and the hook is so annoying, but what judge d says is pretty deep about hating gangsters, like bin laden, saddam hussien, and bush for having their power of controling their country, and doing what ever they want.

13.Ceasefire: now this song is a very political song, and i like it. this song kind of reminds of Twiztid's:"Controversy" song. basically about george bush not giving a crap about anything, and sending troopers to war so he could make them die unpurpise, and not caring about the soidiers fighting for peace, and george bush smiling to himself like he doesn't care about the war.(This may disturb people who care about george bush).

14.Get There: wow the beat to this song is to die for, and the lyrics are really sweet. this song talks about life of what people do.

15.The X-Cape: damn talk about meditation. anyway this is a really trippy song to get stoned with, and a really fantastic way to end a album.

Well their you have it the review to "Judge D's: No Compromize Album". Let me just say that this cd is a instant classic, and i haven't heard an album like this since "High Society". Well, i hope Judge D Makes another album just like this one, Cause this is one of my top favorite solo album's that i have ever heard from Surburban Noize.
