"Este disco contiene muchas canciónes maravillosas. Me fascinan las letras de Juan Perro. "El carro" es como un sueño extraño. "Yo te cito" es una historia de la obsession oscura, y Perro la canta como Leonard Cohen. "Los diez mandamientos" es un rockero quemando, y "Te convierto en canción" es una melodía hermosa. "Candela" es pura poesía, con letras profundas. El mundo de Juan Perro no es como otro."

"Juan Perro is back at it again and delivers a smooth disc in his inimitable style. A mixture of styles ranging from rock to reggae, from blues to bolero, this is a fine eclectic brand of roc en Espanol. Not his strongest effort yet worthy of praise. His vocal stylings are unique and the primary focus of this CD. His almost talking vocals are complimented by some good guitar work and lyrical compositions. I think the star of this CD is the reggae infused song "Charla del pescado" with its interesting lyrics like "que se fue a pescar sin cana" y "que nunca pienso que el pescado fuera estar por el otro lado". A song no doubt worthy of airplay, a nice bit of pop oriented music. Not as strong as his 1995 release that was recorded in Cuba entitled"Raices al viento" but pretty good nonetheless. Somehow I feel he wanted to get something out before he was forgotten. Think of this as a pacifier for fans of Juan Perro and the legend he grew out of in "Radio Futura". Like a short dress on a woman, there is enough covered to keep you interested and the mystery of what could be to keep you tantalized in anticipation. His voice is seductive yet visceral. A self styled artist who has a niche in the pop side of the roc en Espanol market."

"Por fin despues de un largo silencio y un disco recopilatorio de Radio Futura, regresa Juan Perro quien despues de habernos regalado una mezcla de son cubano con rock en sus anteriores producciones "Raices al Viento" y "La Huella Sonora", regresa a sus bases rockeras. Resaltan en este disco canciones como "El Joraique", "La charla del Pescado", "El Carro", "Te convierto en Cancion" y el rocanroll festivo "los diez mandamientos". Sin duda alguna un disco sin desperdicio. Lo unico malo es que solo tiene 10 canciones, pero como dice el dicho: De lo bueno, poco."
