"Walks With Lions is an exceptional work that needs to be looked at closely. Josie has one of those smooth but earthy voices that can handle any style from blues, to folk, to western, to classic country, and a little native american for good measure.....and Walks With Lions showcases these very well. Her Sante Fe birthright coupled with stints in Greenwich Villiage, the Texas scene, and now Nashville have combined with her talents of singing, writing and expression to create an excellent performing artist. I was especially impressed with Footsteps Down The Hall and Are You Sincere-that one brought back memories of Marty Robbins. The production work on both the album and the liner are also in keeping with the quality of the work as a whole. Take a look and many listens...I did and still do....sonDance"
