"2006 Visionary Award Finalist--album from 2005--total time 78 minutes (1hour 18 minutes) 16-page booklet is included, which explains that each selection (track) "represents a different aspect of the transformational and therapeutic sound spectrum." Jonathan is an award winning recording artist and known as a pioneer in sound healing. He has many fine CDs available and you will find that I have written reviews on several of them. They are different than what most people call "music". They are what I call "vibrational music" They are sound healing therapy music and are especially useful with alternate healing modalities, such as reiki, acupuncture, meditation, yoga and such. They can even be useful in just helping you get a better night's sleep. For some people, that in itself is a major accomplishment, especially in today's high-stress environment.

1) Primal Ground--sounds primal--Heavy sounds--low base frequencies. "Created for charka balancing, energy work, meditation and yoga." This selection is from the album "Chakra Chants."

2) Convergence--very peaceful and pretty--sounds like a harp and maybe a flute--booklet says it is a zither, synthesizer, guitar, choral voices and bells "Created to assist bodywork and trance work. This selection is from "Celestial Reiki II".

3) Compassion/Beloved--from "The Lost Chord"--"created for balancing the chakras and as a sonic merkaba."--Jonathan writes about "The Lost Chord": ". . .a journey both up and down the chakras and The Tree of Life all based upon the Phi ratio of the Fibonacci Series. . ."

4) Excerpt: "Ultimate Om"--Jonathan writes ". . .utilizes the sacred mantra Om coupled with the sacred ratio of the perfect fifth in the keynote of C, said to be a harmonic of the frequency of the Earth.. . "

So, as you can see, this CD provides an opportunity for you to experience a selection from each of 13 of Jonathan's other CDs. Quite an opportunity to check his work out if you are new to it. If you are into the spiritual and alternative healing therapies, I believe you will find Jonathan's works quite unique and quite exceptional. His recordings seem to energize right down to the cellular level.



A note to my energy/spiritual friends--Not long ago, I was having my Toyota serviced and you know how people are just put into your path. We got to talking and I let her hear a wee bit of one of Jonathan's cds with my ipod. She was not really into this stuff but immediately loved it and wanted to know all about his music and what it was called and where to get it.



So, if you want to check further, check out my reviews (and those from other reviewers if you must :-) on each album title. If you are even a little interested and believe in God, please do not leave this site without at least reading my review on the album "Holy Harmony" by Jonathan Goldman.

"I am quite pleased with this cd. I own a large collection of "New Age" music-ambient, meditations, trance, etc. I am a massage therapist and Reiki Master, so I use this kind of music when working as well as for myself.



This particular cd is definitely up there on my list of favorites. It is relaxing to listen to even when working!



There is something about most of the tracks that bring me to a very serene and open place-it feels very spiritual and I feel like the music gets inside of me. The only word I can think of is haunting without any of the negative connotations usually associated with that word. Now I need to find more from this artist! Thank you, thank you!"
